So, what causes real estate to fluctuate? There are several factors!

Next, there is inventory. Low supply drives prices up, however, if more homes come on the market, that gives buyers room to negotiate. As a buyer and seller, you need to be aware of this and watch your local inventory.
Another indicator is consumer confidence: Confidence is key. When people feel good about the economy, they act. When they’re uncertain, they pause, and that creates opportunity for the savvy ones. Sound familiar?
And finally, we have buyer psychology. This is perhaps the most underrated one. Perception drives action. If Buyers think prices will rise, they act. If they think prices are coming down, they sit tight and wait . . . it’s that simple.
